Re-open the Department of Justice's investigation into the shooting death of Miriam Carey.
On October 3, 2013 Miriam Iris Carey was shot and killed by unidentified officers of assigned to the United States Capitol Police and Secret Service Uniform Division in Washington, DC. Miriam was UNARMED with her 13 month baby in the backseat of her car at the time of the shooting. The preliminary and final investigations performed by the Metropolitan Police Department indicated Miriam violated no laws. [Secret Service ‘Willful’ Violations of Policies Caused Death of Miriam Carey http://buff.ly/1KsOjLM] Since that fateful day, the United States Department of Justice has refused to bring criminal or civil rights charges against the officers despite having clear evidence, they acted in a 'willful' manner. To this day, unlike other similar police shootings where President Barack Obama, the United States Congress and Department of Justice called for and insisted there be FULL public disclosure of the documents and facts have refused provide FULL public disclosure of the documents and facts in Miriam's case. WorldNet Daily ('Smoking-gun documents prove unarmed mom wrongly killed' http://www.wnd.com/2015/06/smoking-gun-documents-prove-unarmed-mom-wrongly-killed/) and the Washington Post (How Miriam Carey's U-turn at a White House Checkpoint Led to her Death http://www.washingtonpost.com/sf/style/2014/11/26/how-miriam-careys-u-turn-at-a-white-house-checkpoint-led-to-her-death/) investigations raises serious questions about the government's official explanation about the shooting. Please join us in petitioning the White House, United States Congress and the United States Department of Justice to re-open the Department of Justice's investigation into the 'avoidable' shooting death of Miriam Iris Carey by United States Capitol Police and Secret Service and for the United States Congress to hold parallel Congressional Hearings about the surrounding circumstances of the shooting. Please join the Carey Family as we seek FULL public disclosure of the documents and the facts surrounding Miriam's 'avoidable' death by signing this petition. Petition to Department of Justice
Receive Justice for this Racially motivated conviction
On October 2, 2020. Eric Devon Wilson Jr was sentenced to 62 years in prison. You are probably thinking He must have committed some heinous murder? NOPE no murder at all! Had to be a robbery conviction? NOPE no robbery! Must have been a major drug offender right? Nope no drugs involved at all. He had to have an extensive violent/criminal history? Nope had only had one charge as an adult years prior and was not a violent charge. Okay so now someone must have been badly injured right? Absolutely not, there was not one single injury during this alleged crime. This is a ridiculous absurd sentencing and it shows that there was a hidden agenda behind the case. The judge that resided over the case had already been tied to a racial page and denied allegation that she was involved, The detective on the case had a vendetta against this young man because of something he believed the young man was involved in 6 years earlier that he couldn’t prove, so he got witnesses to get on the stand and lie under oath. One witness which was familiar with the defendant and had previously called his father claiming that the detective was forcing her to lie on the stand in order to drop all charges against her related to this crime. The prosecutor on the case also had a vendetta against the young man as he had picked up a cellphone as a child which belonged to her, something that a lot of kids could do. He took it to trial because he had faith in the justice system and didn’t feel like the system would let him down, however the conspiracy and people in a position of power prevailed and were aloud to sentence him to this absurd amount of time, when no murderer had ever been given this kind of sentence. May it also be noted that no one was even injured during the course of this alleged crime! The victim they claimed he shot at, was a friend of his whom testified that he did not believe the defendant was the one whom shot at him because he couldn’t think of any reason he would have shot at him, as they were friends and had never had any problem. One of the witnesses that testified against the defendant after being offered immunity, had been a codefendant along with her son, so she had every reason to lie on this young man. I ask that every stand up for the racial injustice of this young man, this is beyond unreasonable and we need an appeal. Please and thank you.

If you've already signed here, we THANK YOU. In Solidarity,The Justice for Keith LaMar Team Keith is still breathing. Let's not wait for him to become a hashtag. Keith's Story In 1989, Keith LaMar (aka Bomani Shakur) came to prison at age 19. He had been living in Cleveland, Ohio, where he sold drugs as a means of survival in the crack-infested streets he knew as home. On a day that would forever change his life, Keith was robbed at gunpoint and exchanged gunfire with his robbers. He was shot in his legs and hit one of the other men in the chest. That young man, a childhood friend, died. Keith believes in truth and justice and was sentenced to prison for 17 years-to-life. Six years later, while attempting to put together the broken pieces of his life at the Southern Ohio Correctional Facility, Keith LaMar was once again ruled guilty, this time by an all-white jury in an all-white county in southern Ohio. To this day, Keith maintains his innocence of crimes he was framed for by the State of Ohio, crimes he can prove he did not commit during the 1993 Lucasville Prison Uprising at the Southern Ohio Correctional Facility. In spite of his innocence, Keith continues to be held indefinitely in solitary confinement in a steel cage no larger than a closet, where he has spent the past two and a half decades. In all this time, he has not been able to see or touch grass or feel the wind blow against his skin. For sixteen of those years, Keith wasn't even allowed to touch a loved one until his 2011 hunger strike finally afforded him access to semi-contact visits (thick glass separation with just a small hole). It would be eighteen years in all until he could his family again when full-contact visits were granted. In spite of being made to suffer inhumane conditions these three decades, Keith continues to pour love and knowledge on friends and strangers alike, inspiring them to find ways to live their lives with purpose. He has founded the Native Sons Literacy Project to help kids caught up in the school-to-prison pipeline discover that reading will open doors they never could imagine. Through his efforts, Keith has been able to get hundreds of meaningful books in the hands of at-risk juveniles. He exchanges calls and letters with high school and college classes, inspiring people to live their most meaningful lives while they can. Keith LaMar’s is a story about racialized injustice, State corruption, struggle, perseverance and truth. He has laid it all out in Condemned, a soulful, fiery, and captivating book. In it, he traces how the prosecutors fabricated a case against him, then goes on to dismantle their lies by highlighting their inconsistencies. Keith shows clearly how his Constitutional rights were violated by the State of Ohio's willful withholding of evidence favorable to his defense. Most importantly, he compels readers to consider their place within the larger social system, inviting those who would stand on the side of social justice to join him, not just on his behalf, but also for the countless nameless, faceless people caught up in the struggle for humanity. Order Condemned here: www.keithlamar.org/condemned A documentary film that focuses on the State’s intentional railroading of Keith LaMar was made available online October 2014. In just 36 short minutes, the issues about what happened in Keith's legal case are illuminated. The film was updated in 2019 and can be viewed by following this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T4iOQ24Jamk
Petition to Killeen Police Department
JUSTICE FOR PATRICK WARREN SR.
WE THE PEOPLE ARE TIRED OF BEING KILLED BY THE ONES WHO SHOULD BE SERVING AND PROTECTING US. WE THE PEOPLE DEMAND JUSTICE. " I TOLD YOU, DON'T USE A GUN" "HANDS UP MENTAL HEALTH DOES NOT MEAN DEATH" PLEASE UNDERSTAND THIS IS TO RAISE MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS AS WELL Doorbell video shows the moments leading up to when a Black man was shot and killed by a Killeen police officer on Sunday, January 10th.The video shows 52-year-old Patrick Warren Sr. come out of his house and approach the officer while waving his hands.National civil rights attorney Lee Merritt, who's working with the family, said they called police to ask for a mental health professional when they noticed changes in Warren's behavior. Merritt said the family was told a mental health deputy was not available, so a police officer was sent. The video then cuts to another shot that shows Warren get back up and continue toward the officer. Someone from the house can be heard telling Warren to sit down, and asking the officer not to shoot him then three gunshots are fired out of view of the camera.According to Merritt, the officer shot Warren once, then pointed the gun at Warren's wife, telling her to get back. Merritt said the officer then fired his weapon at Warren again. The family of Patrick Warren Sr. demands the immediate firing and arrest of the officer responsible for his death along with the Body camera footage. Bobbie Warren, Warren Sr.'s wife, issued a statement Thursday, which calls for Contreras' arrest."Our family is still finding our bearings following the murder of our beloved Patrick Warren, Sr. We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support from the community. Patrick was a loving husband, father and devoted man of God. As we deal with the pain of this sudden loss we are asking the community to join us in honoring his name and demanding justice. Patrick spent his entire life serving others. He worked at a local plant in Belton, TX before it was shut down due to the pandemic. He immediately launched a landscaping business to continue to provide for our family. We expect Officer Reynaldo Contreras to be arrested immediately. There is more than enough probable cause for the Killeen Police Department, Texas Rangers or the Bell County District Attorney Henry Garza to issue a warrant for Contreras' immediate arrest and detainment - as would be expected for any other citizen under the circumstances." Keep Minister Farrakhan on YouTube!
UPDATE: This petition is now geared towards the campaign to keep the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan’s 4th of July World Address (and all other videos of him) on YouTube. Please view update in the Petition Updates section below the body of this petition. Original petition is as follows: ——————————————————(Original title: Fox (No) Soul, Air the Minister’s 4th of July Address) The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan never called one of our own a “son of a b***h”, unlike certain sitting President of the United States. In fact, the Minister denounces the use of the term to refer to any woman, regardless of race or ethnicity. President Trump gets aired all day, every day on Fox News network, but Fox Soul - that’s supposed to ”celebrate black culture and highlight the real topics that affect the everyday lives of the African-American community” - wants to sell out and cancel the airing of Minister Farrakhan’s 4th of July Address on their program. Shame on them. The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan has been championing the cause of Black and oppressed people for over 60 years, and his influence and impact on Black America is inextricably a part of the culture. (Heard of the Million Man March? He was the originator, spearhead and key speaker of that event.) Let James Dubose, head of programming for Fox Soul, know that they need to grow a backbone and air the Ministers’ message like they originally promoted they would on Twitter. They are not doing Black America any favors by being cowardly. Email them at email@example.com with the following: ”Greetings, I’m reaching out to Fox Soul tv to petition Mr. James DuBose, head of programming for Fox Soul, to re-commit to airing the Honorable Minister Farrakhan’s upcoming 4th of July Address. Fox Soul tv is doing Black America a major disservice by taking the broadcast off of its program this Saturday. Thank you.“ Call in to their line at 1-866-FOX-SOUL and politely state: “I’m calling in to address Fox Soul tv at large to please re-commit air Minister Farrakhan’s upcoming 4th of July Address. You are doing Black America a disservice by taking the broadcast off your program this Saturday. Thank you.” Leave a message on their website at https://www.foxsoul.tv asking to air the Minister’s 4th of July Address. Go on their Fox Soul Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/FOXSOUL/ and leave comments on their posts that they air the Minister’s 4th of July Address. Go to Twitter and tag them (@foxsoultv) in a message to air Minister’s Farrakhan 4th of July Address, with the hashtags #FoxNoSoul and #AirTheMinister. Also post on Facebook and Instagram with these hashtags. Leave comments on Fox Soul YouTube videos: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCd4b1gxOxjl3cD6DEBeo6dw Use the following message to email both Jonathan Greenblatt (CEO of ADL) and Jake Tapper (CNN anchor): firstname.lastname@example.org, email@example.com - SUBJECT: I stand with Farrakhan “To Mr. Greenblatt and Mr. Tapper, This message is to inform you that I disagree with your tactics to cancel Fox Soul’s airing of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan’s upcoming 4th of July Address, and your slanderous media campaign against the Minister. #IStandWithFarrakhan” Sign and share this petition in support of urging Fox Soul to reconsider their cancellation, using the link www.change.org/FoxNoSoulAirTheMinister Please be advised though, this is not begging. This is to make a statement through a call of action. Minister Farrakhan already has a platform (https://www.noi.org/the-criterion/) and is going to do him regardless. Fox Soul would only be saving their own soul by broadcasting the Minister’s 4th of July Address. #FoxNoSoul #AirTheMinister #IStandWithFarrakhan #MessageToTheWorld #DefendingFarrakhan
Petition to Denton City Council, Police Chief Frank Dixon, Mayor Gerard Hudspeth, Denton Police Department
Immediate Resignation - DPD Officer Douglas Downing Murdered Darius Tarver
January 21, 2020, UNT Criminal Justice Student Darius Tarver was brutalized and murdered on the sidewalk steps in the front of his apartment by a Denton Officer whose idenity has been hidden from the public for nearly a year. Following Darius' disgraceful murder, Denton City Officials, largely led by the former Mayor Chris Watts, and current head of DPD, Frank Dixon immediately conspired to facilitate a mass disinformation campaign meant to defame Darius’s legacy as a bright and aspiring student in order to reduce him to nothing less than a violent, unpredictable, and dangerous criminal. All this to protect the reputation of officers who operated outside of protocol and with egregious disregard for Darius’ life. To this day, Officer Douglas Downing who unlawfully fired his weapon multiple times and killed Darius is still employed by Denton PD. He was never placed on leave pending an investigation. As a non-Denton resident who inflicted serious harm on our community, Officer Downing has faced zero repercussions for his actions which led to an egregious and unnecessary loss of life in our community. Even worse, all this time, he has been protected, afforded more protection for a year than he could afford Darius in 15 minutes. While the Denton community was provided the names of four officers involved after the shooting, along with a combined portion of body cam footage, to this day, there has been no formal investigation conducted by the Denton County District Attorney’s Office, and there has yet to be a Grand Jury summoned to review the evidence. All the while, Officer Downing, the killer cop from Little Elm continues to travel to Denton daily to “protect and serve” our community. As we approach the one-year anniversary of Darius Tarver’s execution, we owe it to Darius' memory and his family to at least ensure a renewed conversation centered on the facts so as to put a spotlight on the threat these officers pose to our community. So let's review the facts as they were presented by the Denton Police Department one year ago via the body cam footage and see if the actions of this DPD Officer can still be defended as heroic. If you think that Darius Tarver's life was worth more than Officer Downing's impatience over an aluminum frying pan, then sign this petition and demand his resignation. Quick, before he kills someone else in our community.

Justice for Paige Singh, a wrongfully arrested POC from California. Let her go back home!
Paige Singh is a high school student at Gunn High School in Palo Alto, CA stranded in Salt Lake City, UT, for no reason! After being arrested for a crime which she didn't commit, fighting with her mother, despite her mother hitting her first, she has been sent by the Santa Clara County Juvenile Court to live with her Aunt in Salt Lake City, UT from Palo Alto, CA. She is 17 and almost a university student. She has a job at a law firm, Palo Alto Immigration, and all A grades in Semester 1 of 2020-2021 but can only work such a little amount of hours a week. In her aunt's household, Paige was also abused by her aunt physically and CPS got involved. This does not happen so often in California. Here is a picture of Paige after getting into a fight with her Aunt (WARNING: SLIGHTLY GRAPHIC): https://imgur.com/a/Ufq2hDF Paige is Indian-American, thus she is a Person of Color. Paige is also Transgender MtF. This directly impacts the court case, as People of Color have to deal with disadvantages in the legal system in comparison to White Americans. What we want to see happen - Charges dropped for Paige (which was due to happen in March regardless). - Allow Paige to get emancipated OR sent back to her mother's house in California OR her friend's apartment in California if emancipated. - Allow Paige to get her driver's license, car in California. If we lose:Paige is stuck in Utah with her Aunt for another 7 months. If Paige DOES get sent back to California, it will be in police custody, which is NOT something we want. If Paige DOES get sent back to California, it would be to a group home, or foster home, which is NOT what we want. Link to Paige's GoFundMe: https://www.gofundme.com/manage/help-paige-go-back-to-california To help further, send the following message in an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or call +1 (408) 808 6200: "Hello, Paige is a high school student currently living in Salt Lake City, UT due to being arrested by your department. Paige did nothing wrong and is innocent. Her mother hit her first. As private citizens, we demand that you send her back to California and give her justice. We demand that her charges be dropped. Paige is Indian-American, thus she is a Person of Color. Paige is also Transgender Male to Female. This directly impacts the court case, as People of Color have to deal with disadvantages in the legal system in comparison to White Americans. Thank you,A concerned citizen"
