End Homelessness

When it comes to reforming U.S. global warming policy, the Bush-Cheney administration can't end soon enough -- but it won't end in time for next month's annual U.N. climate talks, being held in Poland. "There is not going to be an Obama delegation in Poznan," said Yvo de Boer, head of the U.N. Climate Change Secretariat, at a press conference today, reports Reuters.

As a Professor at the University of Minnesota in 1970 I organized a course called "Ecology, Technology, and Society." It ran for 18 years and served over 4000 students. We discussed all the issues of climate change, peak oil, resource limitations, etc. long before they became popular. With this background, I concluded that the best use of my engineering talent was to work on wholly new forms of urban transportation that promised to reduce congestion, markedly reduce the accident rate, cut air and noise pollution, get us off our addiction to oil, etc. Bottom line is that I urge you to study the web page prtinternational.com. I leave off the www for reasons you will understand.
